Radius is excited to announce that Agents & Agencies can now import leads from their HealthPlanOne account. Using the Radius Dropbox technology all agents need to do is add their dropbox address to their HealthPlanOne profile and the leads will start to import automatically.
As always, we like to break it down into a real world scenario:
HealthPlanOne Sends Lead > Imports into Radius Account > Agent receives ‘New Lead Email’ > Auto Responder sent to Lead > Drip Marketing Campaign Starts > Work the lead in Radius
P.S. We are working on integrating with a number of quote engines and we are looking to integrate with HealthPlanOne’s Quick Quote Tool for our Medicare Agents & Agencies. More to come very soon!
CONCORD, N.C. – Beginning in 2012, Farmers Insurance will be the majority sponsor of the No. 5 Chevrolets fielded by Hendrick Motorsports and driven by 11-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winner Kasey Kahne.
Covering the 2012, 2013 and 2014 racing seasons, the agreement secures primary paint schemes for Farmers Insurance in 22 Sprint Cup Series events annually and prominent brand placement in all non-primary races. A new No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet car design will be unveiled at a later date.
“Kasey Kahne is a very talented driver and a class act,” said Paul Patsis, president of Enterprise Marketing for Farmers Insurance. “He will represent Farmers well, and we are all so proud to have him driving what will be a successful partnership, both on and off the racetrack.”
In April, Los Angeles-based Farmers Insurance joined Hendrick Motorsports as a five-race primary sponsor of the No. 5 Chevrolets for 2011, debuting with a special paint scheme at the May 21 NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race. Farmers Insurance also is an associate-level sponsor of the No. 5 team this season.
“It’s extremely positive when a company of this caliber sees the value of NASCAR and immediately wants to do more,” said Rick Hendrick, owner of Hendrick Motorsports. “Farmers will have an excellent spokesperson in Kasey, and we’re committed to putting him in a position to win races and championships. Our organization is proud to extend this partnership, and we look forward to a very bright future with everyone at Farmers.”
In addition to his 11 race wins, Kahne has earned 21 pole positions, 51 top-five finishes and 92 top-10s in Sprint Cup competition. Currently in the midst of his eighth full-time season at NASCAR’s elite level, the Enumclaw, Wash., native will join Hendrick Motorsports following the 2011 campaign.
“I’ve had a chance to meet the Farmers people, and they’re doing some exciting new things from a marketing standpoint,” said Kahne, 31, who is signed to drive for Hendrick Motorsports through 2015. “I’m looking forward to being a part of their team and helping grow the Farmers brand. To have this kind of support, and to have it come together so early, is such a boost for all of us.”
In addition to the Hendrick Motorsports relationship, the professional sports properties of Farmers Insurance include naming rights to the planned professional football stadium in Los Angeles, the PGA Tour Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines and the ATP World Tour Farmers Classic held on the campus of UCLA.

Radius Lead Management + CRM for Insurance Agents just launched a complete redesign of task management within Radius. While we have always thought Tasks & Reminders worked in it’s former life, it just seemed a bit cumbersome, clunky and definetly user friendly. Since we use Radius every day, we knew we had to take the time to rehash how Agents interacted with Tasks & Reminders.
All Changes:
1. Quick Add Task
2. Edit Task
3. Calendar Date Selector
4. Assign Time to Task
5. Combined Task & Reminders
6. Add Bar Task Lightview
7. Search and Filter Tasks & Reminders by Date, Task or Reminder, Category and Agents
New Friend to the Quicks – Quick Add Task
Quick Note and Quick Edit from the Dashboard, Lead and Client list now have a new friend in the Quick Add Task, located right next to Quick Edit. We reduced the amount of clicks from 4 to 1 to add a task or reminder to any lead or client. This might be the best part about the entire redesign, granted the addition of Edit and Assign Time is welcomed, it is the quick access to creation of a task that wins hands down. The Add Bar was modified as well with the add task lightview box which reduced the clicks and overall experience.

Edit, Calendar Selector and Time Option
Tasks and Reminders are now editable which makes life so much easier then before. Create a Task and if something changes, edit it don’t delete and recreate. We also added a Calendar to chose Day, Month and Year to assign to your task. Visual more appealing and a better overall experience. Finally, assigning a Time to a Task was a big request from our agents, so we made sure to drop it in there.
Search & Filter Tasks and Reminders
The biggest and best part about the redesigned task & reminders rollout is the Search & Filter Tasks option. This is just the icing on the cake when it comes to managing tasks. Being able to sort by Upcoming or Completed, Tasks or Reminder, Category Type or Agent is amazing. Being able to filter by all for is unbelievable.
Filter search could look like this:
Display Upcoming Tasks in Meetings for Agent Smith or Display Upcoming Reminders in Renewal Dates for All Agents
Local State Farm Insurance Agent over the Memorial Day Weekend set up shop in the parking lot of his retail center offering free car washes to drives. He also used the State Farm NeighBear mascot to drive attention to the offer. Have to say this is a great way to drive exposure and a pretty minimal costs from a lead generation standpoint. Most likely the Bear Mascot was worn by an agent within the office already (or a friend for free beer) and the cost for a two hour block of unlimited car washes must be under $500. If the marketing campaign generated 20 Leads and he closes two policies, this was well worth his time because at a minimum folks driving by now really recognize that there is a State Farm office tucked nicely in between the Dairy Queen and Smith’s Grocery Store.
Which lead generation campaign is more effective: State Farm Good Neigh Bear Car Wash or the State Farm Smart Car? Both are out of the box thinking, but seems to be a lot of State Farm action around here..

Custom Field Search is just one more reason to use Radius to manage your insurance book of business.
Over the past two weeks there has been a flood of Tech StartUps that have launched into Public or Private Beta that revolve around the Healthcare Industry, specifically either Insurance Companies or Providers aimed at consumers.
