Today is the Official Launch of the Radius Drip Marketing Module for all Radiusbob.com Agents. Over the past month The Bobs have been crunching code and living off coffee to give Radius Agents the ability to create automatic email campaigns and auto responders to keep prospects and leads engaged. Below are just a few capabilities of the Drip Marketing Module:

1. Create Custom HTML Email Templates
2. WYSIWYG HTML Editor (a simple as using Word)
3. Target Leads by Coverage Type, Temperature, Tags and more…
4. Define Marketing Plans with Specific Delivery Times
5. Auto Responders and much much more…

The Radius Drip Marketing component allows for you to create specific Email Templates that can be delivered based upon the Marketing Plan you configure. The Email Template portion allows you to create specific content such as a Thank You, Follow Up, Reminder or It Has Been a While type of email. The Marketing Plan portion allows you to configure the exact elapsed time you would like these emails to be delivered during the sales process.

We have included one example, but think of it this way

New Lead in Radius Campaign:
Email One:
Email Template – Quote Auto-responder and Marketing Plan – 5 Minutes after New Lead is in Radius
Email Two:
Email Template #2 – Follow Up on Quote and Marketing Plan – 1 Day after New Lead is in Radius
Email Three:
Email Template #3 – Initial Quote Still Good – 7 Day(s) after New Lead is in Radius

Not in theory, but in reality, if you are using the Radius Contact Us / Lead Generator Page on your website, the following can take place:
Prospect Completes Form on Website
Lead Information is put directly into Radius
Email goes to Agent with Lead Contact Information
Email Auto Responder goes out to Lead with a BCC to Agent
Email Marketing Plan kicks in for follow Emails

All of this happens within minutes, now that is AWESOME!

Jump onto wsjonline.com everyday to specifically look a the ‘Small Business’ section of their website (and we do have a subscription to the printed copy) as they have random articles we enjoy. While this article is pretty straight forward (Marketing Strategy: Buddy Up) it does give a great example of really out of the box thinking that can help separate yourself from the competition while piggy backing with a larger company…

“Sharing the Spotlight”

While most small businesses aren’t fortunate enough to be able to latch on to the campaign of a big company like Apple, some business owners have found ways to reduce marketing costs by sharing the spotlight with another company.

In May, Birds Barbershop in Austin, Texas, launched an advertising campaign with Lone Star Beer, which is owned by Pabst Brewing Co. The ads, which are running in local print and online publications, show a customer sporting a new hair-do and holding a beer. The ads list the price of the haircut and indicate that the beer is complimentary.

The barbershop has been serving a free beer to customers since 2006, says Michael Portman, who co-owns four locations. Lone Star had already been supplying the barbershops with cases at a discount price, and was game to split the cost of the ads.

The most expensive ad, prominently displayed in a bi-monthly Austin magazine, cost $900. Without a partner, Mr. Portman says he probably would have chosen a more modest ad. “I wouldn’t make that leap alone,” he says…Full Article Here

Spreadable – Spread the Word!

On September 9, 2010, in Independent Agent, Marketing, Random, by Radius

We use Grasshopper for our Virtual Phone Systems here at Radius and we received a Beta Invite to Spreadable.com the other day…While we haven’t dug to deep into the weeds we do like the idea of Insurance Agents adding this to their website to help promote Client Referrals and not your standard ‘Give us a Name of Someone whom may….blah blah blah’. But literally giving your clients the ability to send someone a note and link to your website about your services.

Portion of Copy from Email Invite:

Spread the Word

If you haven’t yet heard, Grasshopper Group is launching a new word-of-mouth marketing tool designed to increase referrals to your site and “spread the word” about your business.

While Spreadable is currently in Beta, we’re offering our Grasshopper customers a first look. Sign up and be one of the first to test out our new product.

Simply write “Grasshopper customer email” in the “How did you hear about us” box and we’ll move you to the top of the list. Check it out now!

We’ll get our beta account rolling and drop back in with further details…More to Come.

Great Article by Chris Drake (CEO and founder of FireHost, Inc.,) at VentureBeat

In business, “turning on the faucet” is a metaphor for flooding your market with the full spectrum of marketing and business development. It’s an important step in your company’s maturity. Take it too early and you’ll misrepresent your service. Take it too late, though, and you’ve missed the boat. My entrepreneurial “a-ha moment” came when I was running TargetScope, an interactive marketing and web development company. We were successful, but then the website of one of our biggest clients (a very large, very well known turkey company) was hacked … the day before Thanksgiving 2007…” Read the Entire Article at Entrepreneur.Venturebeat.com
